Here's Groovy's official recommendation for a band to keep an eye out for! Girugamesh.
Formed back in 2003 in Chiba, this band is still fairly low profile compared to some of its bigger flashier cousins. But what Girugamesh lacks in hair color and piercing, its makes up for in another commodity that most of the other, better know visual bands seem to be lacking lately: originality.
Although still a little rough around the edges, vocalist Satoshi has some genuine range and talent. The music has an original, melodic base and damnably catchy beats and their lyrics have *gasp* brains!
